The Community Partnerships Program has awarded $494,788 in funding to 52 community organisations and events throughout regional and remote Western Australia.

The program has awarded almost $5 million to more than 490 initiatives in regional WA since 2020.

Funding this year will contribute to numerous significant regional sporting and cultural events, while supporting grassroots organisations to build capacity and vibrancy in their communities.

Recipients of the latest round include the Broome-based Kimberley Arts Network, Kununurra's Kangaroo Haven Wildlife Rescue Centre, the Exmouth Toy Library, the Rotary Club of Esperance, and the Karratha Junior Rugby League.

A range of events to be held in 2025, including Exmouth's Ningaloo Sky Festival, the Ord Valley Muster, and the 2025 Horizon Power Floating Lantern Matsuri will also receive funding.

Through the Community Partnerships Program, $1.1 million is provided each financial year to support regional community initiatives and events.
